Few would argue the value of having a teachable spirit…
Chinese philosopher Confucius said… “Learning without thought is labor lost; thought without learning is perilous”.
American businessman Henry Ford said… “Anyone who stops learning is old, whether twenty or eighty. Anyone who keeps learning stays young”.
English novelist Aldous Huxley said… “Experience is not what happens to you; it’s what you do with what happens to you. Experience teaches only the teachable”.
Sure, things in our economy are tough right now, but we’ve been here before, and worse. However, it’s not so much about what we do at this time that will make the long term difference…
It’s about what we, as a nation, take from this experience, and apply to the future.
Jesus said that “where your treasure is, there will your heart be also”. Treasure stored up in an earthly financial market is easily lost. Make sure that your treasure is stored up in God’s unshakeable Kingdom.
And His Kingdom will never end!
