Living It Out In Real Time The Life of Faith Through The Looking Glass

Hollywood & A Holy Perspective

Through the Looking Glass                      Randall Wallace is an Oscar-nominated screenwriter and director, having worked on such movies as Braveheart, We Were Soldiers, The Man In The Iron Mask, and Secretariat.         Mr. Wallace had this to say about his faith…

“An essential reason that I am Christian

is that I fully understand

that I’m not God… I need God.” *

Wallace Sword

Mr. Wallace understands a couple of truths that some politicians, performers, and pagans for years have failed to come to grips with:

Truth #1: There is a God in Heaven Who is holy, righteous, loving, merciful and just.

Truth #2: You are NOT Him.

We do ourselves and God a great disservice when we ascribe to Him our flawed humanity instead of the glory and honor that are due Him. We as the creation must continually resist the urge to make the Creator less than what He is… HOLY.

I am the Lord, your Holy One, Israel’s Creator, your King.” ~ Isaiah 43:15

I'm a husband, father, grandfather, and child of the Most High. I enjoy time spent with my Father, pointing others His direction, and watching them be transformed by His love and power. I also enjoy travelling, reading, old cars, and playing with my grandchildren.

I have been watching Pastor Ron Phillips for some time now on Sunday Mornings at 7am…through this show I was introduced to Rabbi Curt Landry…I wanted to learn more about the prayer shaw and signed up for his daily devotions…from time to time would watch Mannafeast with Perry Stone and enjoy him also…And from time to time I enjoy Jack Van Impe..My husband and I go to different churches…he is Church of Christ and I am Methodist. My husband has been afraid that I have been going down the deep end…but I just love hearing the direct and very blunt word of Jehovah! Well a couple of weeks ago my husband listened to Pastor Ron preach about the state of our country and government…Johnny told me that if I wanted to go to Chattanooga to listen to Pastor Ron, he would take me. I told him about the ads of this “Fresh Oil New Wine” and that 3 pastors would be speaking that I really enjoy and this is what I wanted to see…Johnny said o.k….Well all I can say is that after 40 years of marriage, we were filled with the holy spirit at the same time and were in agreement of the message delivered…It was wonderful! Even Heavenly!!! It is so nice to look forward to attend church and not just go to punch your time card! Praying to find a church like Abba’s House, or House of David, or Perry Stone’s…ministers are so afraid to say what they need to say!
