If you are currently attending The Big Event, I invite you to share your thoughts — and what God is doing in your life — below. If you were not able to come, it’s not too late. It’s here! This is the week! Our annual partner and friends event, The Big Event, begins this Wednesday (September 24). Perry Stone, Damon Thompson, Rod Parsley, Randy Caldwell, and more will be joining me as we celebrate 5 Days of Jubilee!!!

With all of the great worship, preaching, and ministry that will be going on, we believe that God is going to do incredible things. The only thing missing is YOU.

Why?

BibleAs many of you know, our Big Event is coming up later this month (September 24-28). For those of you who may not know much about our ministry, this is a time for our partners and friends of our ministry to come together for a time of spiritual renewal and celebration. We worship, we hear great teaching, we have meals together, an auction (to raise money for more ministry), and much more.

Maybe you read my blog, and you don’t even understand why preachers do what we do. After all, the Bible even refers to preaching and the message of the cross as foolishness…

For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. For it is written:
“I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
And bring to nothing the understanding of the prudent.”
Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For since, in the wisdom of God, the world through wisdom did not know God, it pleased God through the foolishness of the message preached to save those who believe. For Jews request a sign, and Greeks seek after wisdom; but we preach Christ crucified, to the Jews a stumbling block and to the Greeks foolishness, but to those who are called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men, and the weakness of God is stronger than men. ~ 1 Corinthains 1:18-25

“Has not God made foolish the wisdom of this world?” What we in our finite minds think of as wise has little eternal value in the eyes of God. All of the stuff that we cling to as human beings (ie: money, power, fame, etc) has no eternal significance. Remember the very old and equally true saying, “You can’t take it with you”?

The reasons we do what we do are simple: To share the love of Jesus with the world that needs Him. To heal the broken and hurting. To give direction to a society that is adrift with no oars, no sails, and no hope.

We believe in a God of eternal salvation, spiritual and physical healing, and love beyond measure. As believers in Jesus, it is our job to take the light and love we have been given, and spread it wherever we go.

That is why we do what we do.

Our annual partner and friends event, The Big Event, is coming up in less than a month, and I am very excited about it. I could go on at length, and discuss the amazing things God did in years past. I could talk about the great lineup of speakers we have this year – speakers like Perry Stone, Damon Thompson, Rod Parsley, Randy Caldwell, and more. I could say much about the worship, the fun we have, and the work that we are doing around the world. I could explain more about why we are celebrating 5 Days of Jubilee.

Something AWESOME This Way Comes…

I just wanted to take a moment with today’s blog to tell you about something I am very excited about! Our annual conference for partners and followers of our ministry, THE BIG EVENT, is just around the corner (September 24-28), and promises to be a destiny moment for those in attendance. As in years past, THE BIG EVENT will include passionate worship, powerful ministry, and anointed speakers including Rod Parsley, Perry Stone, Damon Thompson, Randy Caldwell, and many more.

Big Event Collage This year marks my 50th year in ministry. In the Bible, the 50th year was considered the Year of Jubilee, and was a season of freedom and celebration. One of our very symbols of freedom, the Liberty Bell, contains in its inscription… “Proclaim Liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof.” This comes from the Scripture in Leviticus regarding the Year of Jubilee…

And ye shall hallow the fiftieth year, and proclaim liberty throughout all the land unto all the inhabitants thereof: it shall be a jubile unto you; and ye shall return every man unto his possession, and ye shall return every man unto his family. ~ Leviticus 25:10

As much as we’d love to take a whole year to celebrate our freedom and liberty in Jesus, we understand your boss might not give you that much time off. So we are going to pack a whole lot of worship, teaching, freedom, and celebration into…

5 Days of Jubilee!

In case you’ve never been to a BIG EVENT before, here’s what just a few have said about the BIG EVENTS of years past…

It was wonderful times at the conference. It was our first time and we loved it. It was 10 of us ladies from Meridian, Mississippi. Awesome! Awesome! To experience such and outpouring of knowledge and of the Holy Ghost all this week, this will be on my calendar every year for many to come. ~ Justin It was AWESOME and we brought the fire back to our Church this morning! 2 Salvations and Spirit Fullness! ~ Nathan This entire Big Event has been an extraordinary blessing. Such anointed teachers that speak the Truth and move our spirits to fight the good fight and be the salt and light like never before – overflowing with God’s love to everyone. ~ Jennifer

The Zadoks are going VIRAL!

Recently, we had an outreach event in our church called MISSION: REACH OUT. The many ministries and LifeGroups of our church spent a Saturday out and about in the Chattanooga area. It was a great time of visiting and talking to people, washing cars, handing out bottled water, and ministering to first responders. Some of our folks had a free yard sale at the church. Others went door-to-door inviting individuals and families to “Come Home to Abba’s House“.
Our church’s worship ministry, the Zadoks, went to a local mall and participated in a “flash mob”. Our media team was there with iPhones, and recorded the event. It was posted online a couple of days ago, and is already going viral. Check it our for yourself…
